Care Packs for Brisbane's Homeless

Care Packs for Brisbane's Homeless is an initiative of Leanne Reilly. What originated as a small Facebook page in January 2015 has grown to supplying various shelters and drop-in centres throughout the QLD with hand-packed toiletry bags. The care packs assist those in need and those doing it tough on the streets, and are used by men, women & families. This simple idea is now helping hundreds of homeless people each week.

Peace of Mind Foundation is an Australian based non profit organisation for brain cancer support and awareness. Our primary focus is on helping people diagnosed with malignant brain tumours, and providing support, care and financial aid to these individuals and their family.

We exist to improve quality of life for brain cancer patients and their families by providing financial, emotional and practical support. We understand the continuous demand of everyday responsibilities, plus ongoing financial commitments still need to be met even during this time of crisis.

Peace of Mind Foundation was created to help alleviate everyday stresses by supplying not just monetary assistance but also hands on help at home, in hospital and throughout the whole journey.

Rosies provides unconditional acceptance and friendship to people who are marginalised within our community – especially those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or simply lonely.

Rosies is a volunteer-based not for profit organisation that commenced in Queensland in 1987 as a youth mission. Today, we have grown to reach out to all of our friends on the street, in the courts, detention centres, prisons, and drop-in centres.

We continue to engage youth, and the community, through education, awareness, and volunteer programs. These all play a vital role in prevention and support.

Over 95% of our work is funded through kind donations from our local community.

Through the joy of friendship we aim to acknowledge human dignity and inspire an increased self-reliance.

Rosies is non-preaching and non-discriminatory.
